Advanced courses for enhancing professional skill of workers food items spa facilities of CJSC "Mirgorodkurort"

Center for Postgraduate Education and work with students of Kyiv University of Tourism, Economics and Law together with CJSC "Ukrprofozdorovnytsa" conducted refresher training to food items spa facilities of CJSC "Mirgorodkurort". Courses were held in the form of a seminar on theme "Modern technologies of food services". The workshop was held from 18 to 23 November 2013 at the resorts "Myrgorod" and "Poltava" CJSC "Mirgorodkurort".

The seminar was attended by 70 waiters and cooks resorts "Myrgorod", "Poltava", "Birch Grove" and "Horol". Certification of trainees was the final event of the workshop, where everyone showed their skills in cooking, preparation and serving dishes. Trainees have demonstrated creativity in performing tasks like preparing and filing health food, and when you make the Swedish and thematic tables.

Content of training program "Cook" includes:

  • question of production;
  • modern technology of cooking diet dishes they serve;
  • basics of carving;
  • physiology of nutrition;
  • food commodity and so on.

Issues included in the training program in the specialty "waiter" are:

  • organization of services in terms of spa facilities;
  • kind of banquet services;
  • management personnel;
  • ethics and psychology of business communication;
  • control the quality of restaurant services.
