The next meeting of the city methodical section deputy director for training and production of vocational schools of Kyiv in Economics and Law School of KUTEL

On April 9, 2015, on the basis of the Economics and Law School of the Kyiv University of Tourism, Economics and Law, there was a regular meeting of the city methodical section of deputy directors of the teaching and production work professional schools of the Kyiv on the theme: "Organizational-pedagogical conditions for the formation of professional competences for future skilled workers of the sphere tourism".

The section was attended by representatives of 30 educational institutions of the system of vocational education of Kyiv and representatives of the Department of Professional Education of the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council. The purpose of the event was to get acquainted with the experience of working and studying the peculiarities of the formation of knowledge, skills of future skilled tourism workers.

During the seminar, the participants attended the theoretical and productive studies, as well as master classes. The high interest of the pedagogical community caused the lesson of Natalia Prokopenko's production training on the topic: "Presentation of information to clients and registration of a tourist package. Collect and provide complete travel information. "During the lesson, the students studied the functionality of the Internet pages of tour operators, consulates, migration service, etc. On the example of the proposals of the tour operator "Joint UP", students made a complete collection and provision of information on travel to tourists according to the criteria. The next task was to complete all the necessary tourist documents: a contract on travel services, a voucher, insurance policy, an information sheet.

Another, not less interesting for the participants, was the lesson of production training Tamara Blazevich on the theme: "Forms of organization of excursion trips. Development of excursions". During the class, the students had to demonstrate their own business English skills, prepare and present their own excursions in Kiev in a foreign language.

An example of theoretical study was the lesson "Geography" Lyudmila Shandibina on the topic: "General characteristics of Latin American countries." During the class, the students studied the features of the EGP, the composition of the territories, the administrative structure, the level of economic development, and others like that.

Participants of the section appreciated the high professionalism of Natalia Karpenko, who held a master class "Information Management Systems. Overseas - Ordering ". During the master class, the students from the deputy directors were able to independently familiarize themselves with the functional capabilities of the information system "Overseas-Tourism", learn to work in the environment, to make an agency order and to form an account for a tourist service.

The audience of the section took part in the master class "Technique of towels assembly in Origami technique", which was hosted by Julia Zemlina and Viktoriya Poluda on the basis of the Hospitality Hotel training and production laboratory. Also the participants got acquainted with the work of the educational and production laboratory of the tourist firm "KUTEP-tour", on the basis of which the industrial training and industrial practice of students are organized by the profession "Tourism organization agent".

The work of the methodical section has been completed by excursion to the Bakkara Art Hotel www.bakkara-hotel.com.ua, with which close partnership relations are established and on the basis of which there is production training and practice.

The participants of the section emphasized the role of such events in order to exchange experience and stressed the importance of conducting such events in conditions close to production.
