XIII postgraduate and master reading «New concepts of tourism and modern travel practices in Ukraine (based on UNWTO materials)»

November 26, 2013 in Kyiv University of Tourism, Economics and Law held XIII postgraduate and master's Readings "New concepts of tourism and modern travel practices in Ukraine (based on UNWTO materials).

This event is a traditional form report on the research activities of graduate students and masters of the University. With opening remarks to the assembly spoke the doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, rector Vladimir K. Fedorchenko. The main focus was on the features of the present stage of development of tourism and the challenges that exist in the organization of tourism in Ukraine.

The report "The innovative concept of the principles of modern tourism" was made by doctor of philosophy, professor, corresponding member of NAS of Ukraine Victor S. Pazenok. Special attention was allocated to the analysis of modern concepts of tourism development in the context of the main outcomes of the World Tourism Organization.

Readings were attended by more than 60 graduate students, job seekers and masters of KUTEL. Presentations covered a wide range of issues, among which highlight the issue of training in tourism: Lyubarets V. "Features of the skills of educational technology in the hospitality skilled workers in tourism", Stolyar H. "Modern concept of training managers in tourism (international experience)", A. Vasilenko "Innovative approaches to training in hospitality and restaurant industry", Hachenko A. "Innovative approaches to contemporary professional education in tourism" and others.

A number of topics dealt with analysis of various trends of tourism practices in Ukraine and worldwide: Researcher Center Monument National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Monuments of History and Culture Hors'ka A. "Museums and problems of modern tourism practices", Kaminska N. "Travel Resources of Ukraine: the problem of effective use", V. Sokolovsky "Event tourism in the context of tourism industry of Ukraine" and others.

Several presentations highlighted current problems and prospects of development of hotel and restaurant business: Kalashnikov A. "Current state and trends of the hotel services", Zajac A. "Features of taxation hotel industry in Ukraine", Y. Karpenko "Positioning of hotel services in the form of family entertainment". Based on the submissions provided to give Proceedings of the readings.
