Interuniversity student scientific and theoretical conference "Protection and realization of human rights and freedoms: the experience of Ukraine and European countries"

On November 14, 2017, the Interuniversity Student Scientific and Theoretical Conference "Protection and Realization of Human Rights and Freedoms: the Experience of Ukraine and European Countries" was held within the framework of the Training and Research Complex "Tourism, Hospitality, Economics and Law".

The conference was attended by students of law schools of the following educational institutions: Kyiv University of Tourism, Economics and Law, Kyiv State College of Tourism and Hospitality, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, Institute of Management, Technologies and Law of the State University of Infrastructure and Technologies, College of Economics and Law and Information Technologies of the University of Economics and Law "KROK", Economic College of the State Higher Educational Institution "Kyiv National Economical University named after Vadym Hetman".

The purpose of the student's scientific and theoretical conference was to acquaint young generation of future lawyers with the basics of scientific research, to form the practice of public speeches, to involve students in scientific and theoretical discussion of issues related to legal issues, including in the field of protection and realization of human rights and freedoms and a citizen both in Ukraine and in EU countries.

Human rights and freedoms are considered to be the most important constitutional values. Human rights determine not only the extent of its possible behavior in society, but also the degree of its protection from the state.

Integration of Ukraine into the European legal space gives a chance to see the problems of realization of human and civil rights and freedoms in a new way, since these frameworks have recently expanded considerably under the influence of globalization processes.

The Law Faculty of Kyiv University of Tourism, Economics and Law thanks all the participants of the conference for fruitful work, meaningful speeches, active participation in discussions and invites to further cooperation.
