Round table on education of young people in the learning process

March 17, 2016, a round table discussion was held at the Kyiv University, Tourism, Economics and Law on theme: "Formation of value orientations and moral and ethical education of students in the process of studying social and humanitarian disciplines".

The event was attended by scientists o the Institute of Philosophy named after G.S. Skovoroda of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, International Academy of culture of safety, ecology and health of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, lecturers of the department of social and humanitarian disciplines, students of the KUTEL Magistracy and graduates of the Gymnasium №283 in Kyiv.

The problems of education of young people in the conditions of transformation processes in Ukraine were fundamentally discovered by the doctor of philosophical sciences, professor, member of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Pazenok V.S. and Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Head of the Department of History of Foreign Philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy named after G.S. Skovoroda, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Lyakh V.V.

In the discussion of the problem there was a lively thematic discussion about the experience, directions and forms of work of the university's scientific and pedagogical staff in forming the personality of the students and their "I-concept" in the process of implementation of the "Concept of national-patriotic education of children and youth" at the university. Particular attention is paid to the education of civic activity, patriotism, spiritual and moral and ethical values.

Students of the gymnasium together with the professor of geography Shilina N.V. presented interesting variants of the ecological and tourist trail as one of the means of environmental education of children and youth.
