Training and Production Laboratory Legal Clinic "Legis" (hereinafter - the Law Clinic "Legis") was established on the 1st of October 2001 year by order of the rector of Kiev University, tourism, economy and law based on the Regulation "On the teaching and industrial laboratories Legal Clinic" Legis ".
Legal Clinic "Legis" is a structural subdivision of the law faculty of Kyiv University of Tourism, Economics and Law.
The main tasks of the Legal Clinic "Legis" are:
- legal assistance to low-income groups;
- teaching students practical skills and methods of providing legal aid and legal conflict resolution rules;
- acquisition of psychological and pedagogical skills of students during the communication with customers;
- compilation of legal practice within the objectives of legal clinics and publication of the reference materials.
Structure and mechanism of activity and functioning legal clinic
Legal Clinic "Legis" operates in the structure of the Kyiv University of Tourism, economy and law as its functional unit. The work of the Legal Clinic "Legis" is guided by the legislation of Ukraine and the Regulation on training and industrial laboratories Legal Clinic "Legis".

Types of services provided in accordance with the goals and objectives of the Legal Clinic "Legis":
- reception and consultation of citizens;
- preparation and execution of legal documents;
- representing clients in court;
- cooperation with government authorities;
- analysis
of legal documents and work with the legal database; - conducting of lectures and practical exercises;
- vocational orientation of school graduates;
- holding scientific-practical conferences on various branches of law;
- publication of textbooks, manuals and teaching materials;
- creative collaboration with the legal clinics of other universities;
- legal education of students;
- monitoring of lawmaking in Ukraine and its improvement;
- development of legislative activity in the sphere of tourism;
- legal assistance to travel companies and hotels.
The order and mode of operation of the Legal Clinic "Legis":
Monday - Thursday from 10.00 to 17.00.
