1934 birth. He graduated from the philosophical department of the Kiev Taras Shevchenko University, postgraduate and doctoral Academy of Social Sciences. Senior Fellow, Institute of Philosophy G.S.Skovoroda.

Pazenok V. - Recognized in Ukraine and abroad, an authoritative scholar in the history of philosophy, in particular, foreign, social philosophy and ethics. He owns the fundamental development of topical problems of methodology of philosophical studies, philosophy, culture and politics. He is a leading specialist in the theory of philosophical Humanities. He has a scientific priority in the creation of the original direction of modern social science - Ethnic Ethics, it was initiated by the International Conference "Culture and Ethnic Ethics. Important for the development of philosophy of science have his work on the formation of the modern world, democratic values, moral relations in transitional societies, social and moral foundations of the state. He has written over 200 scientific papers (8 individual and 12 collective monographs: "The sociological and ethical relativism" - K., Naukova Dumka, 1986, "Society on the threshold of XXI-st century. A philosophical interpretation of the fluid of the world" - K., Ukrainian Center for Spiritual Culture, 1999), including those published abroad (the Netherlands, Russia, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania).

Actively involved in the development of state programs of humanitarian and socio-political development of Ukraine, in particular the concept of the humanitarian sphere in Ukraine.

Conducts extensive educational and scientific and educational activities. He is a member of the Academic Scientific Council for the Coordination of Legal Studies, member of the Ukrainian Philosophical Society and the Ukrainian Association of Political Scientists, President of the Ukrainian Humanist and Ethical Association, a board member of International Association of Ethos and Company's "knowledge" of Ukraine, member of the editorial boards of the journals "Philosophical Thought", " Politics and Time.

He prepared 5 doctors and 15 candidates of science.

Vitaly Liakh

Born January 1, 1942 in the village Terni Krasnolimanskaya district, Donetsk region (Ukraine).

In 1969 graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of the Kiev National University Shevchenko in "Philosophy".

Since 1969 he works at the Institute of Philosophy GSScovoroda HAH Ukraine: PhD (1969-1972), Associate Research Fellow (1972-1979), senior researcher of modern philosophy (1979-1989), head of the Anglo- American Philosophy (1989 - 1996), head of foreign philosophy of history (since 1996).

Since 1999 he is Professor of Philosophy of Social Sciences Kyiv University of Tourism, Economics and Law.

Research current issues related to the history of foreign philosophy, in particular, problems of social development (the theory of postindustrial, information society), changes in cultural orientations, freedom and humanism in existential philosophy, identity in the era of globalization, mobility in the interpretation neofroydyzmu ratio irratsionalizmu and rationalism, finding new types of rationality and so on.

Author of over 150 scientific papers.

He prepared five doctors, 12 candidates.
